1989 Chateau Beycheville

Clear deep garnet color. Pronounced developing licorice and black pepper nose. Medium Acid, Medium+ alcohol, medium + body and medium + tannin. Black fruit, cinnamon, clove and licorice on the long palate. Very good. Tannins were very silky smooth, making a veal option as well as filet possible.
